It’s been an exciting spring and summer, with classes in Arlington, our SCBWI Mid-Atlantic editors & agents day which I chaired, and a wonderful writing retreat in Richmond, Va.

Here’s what’s coming up this fall:

Jumpstart Your Book Idea! — a ninety minute workshop on how to get started on your first book project, and how to keep going once you’ve begun. I’ll be teaching this class twice this fall, once in person and once virtually.

In person: Saturday September 9, from 10:30 am to noon at Arlington Community learning.

Virtually: Tuesday October 1, from 7 to 8:30 pm.

Also this fall, Introduction to Writing Children’s Books is back! It will be for three Tuesdays, from 7pm to 8:30 pm, in person starting October 1. More details and registration info is at Arlington Community Learning.

Then later in October I’ll be teaching a workshop on “Revising the Longer Kidlit manuscript” as part of a day of craft intensives sponsored by SCBWI Mid-Atlantic. More details about how to register will be available soon!
