Fall Events, Workshops and Classes

There’s a lot going on this fall:

I’m teaching “Jumpstart Your Book” at Arlington (Va) Community Learning on September 25 at 1 pm (in person) and November 14 at 7 pm (virtually)

I’m teaching Intro to Writing Children’s Books at the Cambridge Center for Adult Ed in a two night virtual class, 7:45 pm to 9:45 pm, on November 3 and November 10.

I’ll also be teaching an in-person three night version of the Intro to Writing Children’s Book Class at Arlington (Va) Community Learning, 7 pm to 8 :30 pm on October 11, 18, and 25.

October 21 to 23 is the SCBWI Mid-Atlantic Fall Conference Dulles, Va! I’m co-chair of the conference committee this year so I’ll be at all the events and moderating the agent panel on Saturday afternoon. Hope to see you there!

On November 4 I’ll be in Williamsburg, Va. on a panel and signing books at the Virginia Association of School Librarians annual conference. Find me at the SCBWI booth.
